TOP TEN Killer Whale (Orca) Encounters Caught On Tape

The last one is so sad. That whale is Luna, and she was abandoned by her pod in the Puget Sound. She was so lonely that she would seek out human interaction. Everyone was told to stay away from her because if she got too comfortable with humans it would lead to her own harm, but of course who can resist an adorable Orca that wants to be friends. In the end, she was hit and killed by a boat because she didn’t know to stay away.

Being surrounded by apex predators without being attacked leave humans in a state of heightened awareness doubled with wonder and bliss

know there has never been a recorded killer whale attack on humans in the wild but I would shit myself if that happened to me while kayaking..

Even though they were using the boats’ wake to their advantage, the fact that they could keep up with ease for so long is amazing. They truly are the masters of the seas.

Those Orca’s that were “chasing” the boat were surfing on the waves caused by the boat. You’re forcing all that water forward like that is actually helping the orca’s to keep up. One of them looks like it’s having a real fun time.

omg the video of the dad with his little son and the orca that swam upside down is so so wholesome. the genuine laughter and smile they had. it‘s moments like these that really make you appreciate live and that they‘ll never forget.
